This is just getting sillier by the year. I get it, you need to market the game by making sure the stars are playing. In turn, players like Sean Couturier get shafted.

Tell me about it! They should take the best players from each team and put em in a line! Can you imagine a 1st line of all TB players and a 2nd line of Matthews, Marner and Nylander of Toronto?! Metro would wipe the floor with all other division rivals right there!

King Henrik deserves it! He has been great this year and is the reason the Rangers are even in it.

I think he got in because A) at least one player from every team has to be in the game ( you know get people watching)
        B) who else from Montreal deserves to go?

Letang should not be on the team and with trotz as the coach your guaranteed a first round loss for the Metro.

Tons of snubs and a couple of guys getting in on name alone. I mean no what format is used, there are bound to be snubs, but I think the format should be changed. 6 forwards, 3 defensemen, 2 goalies is not enough. I understand the 3-on-3 format is meant to create more space on th

Submitted somehow before I could finish. But the 3-on-3 is meant to create more space on the ice and consequently more scoring. To keep the excitement just go to a 4-on-4 format. 3 goalies, 6 defensemen, 8-10 forwards. This way you get to keep the stars that the NHL insists on throwing in there even if they are having bad seasons but also actually get another couple of players who do deserve to get in.

How the hell does Price make it over Andersen ?
Price is only there cause Montreal has to have a player I guess that’s a team of losers not any all stars this year

Pretty sure that every team is supposed to get one player in. Can’t take Eichel out without replacing him with another Sabres player.

Eichel has more points than Kane. Eichel has as many points as Pastrnak. So if Pastrnak is worthy, Eichel is worthy.

+\- is such a team stat. You can’t judge a guy and claim he’s good/bad just solely because of his +\- . I mean Sidney Crosby has a -11, but are you going to tell me he’s bad? For comparison sake, Evander Kane has a better plus/minus than Crosby, so are you implying Kane is having a better year? I don’t like Crosby but I know Crosby’s -11 isn’t only his fault.

A worthy candidate and probable snub, but who would you take out of that forward group to put him in? Each team needs one representative so you put in Stone (who is deserving), you likely have to take Karlsson out. The problem is the NHL needs their stars and biggest names in the game, so certain guys are bound to get left out in favor of a bigger name.

As a sens fan, I believe Stone is way more deserving than Karlsson. I’m not really liking this format, since it seems the bigger names are chosen instead of the correct player. William Karlsson is another huge snub
