After cutting (3) 1st rd draft picks the Blues scouting bureau should be cut next!
They’re developing and our depth is solid all 3 guys will eventually be regulars but you gotta be patient. It makes no sense to keep carbo dvo and lindstien in the nhl when the A is where we all knew they’d be excluding carbo who went to the qmjhl
You seem new to this stuff.
Per ChatGPT, because that’s about the level of quality this comment deserves:
Typical NHL prospect development time = ~2–4 years after draft for forwards and defensemen.
Goalies often need 4–6 years.
Only the most elite, physically mature prospects (top 5–10 picks) make the jump immediately.
Let’s not forget, That alot of these kids who may have impressed in camp, Are sometimes sent down solely because of the waiver exempt rule. But I do believe, That in some cases, It sends the wrong message, And it can be frustrating for the young kids.
But somehow, Sonny still survives? Curious? Very curious?
How does Hryckowian get sent down?? Ben is injures he puts up point per game in the AHL last year and he still doesn’t make it. Dallas just can’t let young guys get a shot! (Except Johnston)
Most of these rosters could be predicted at the start of training camp regardless of how anyone actually played in pre-season. The salary cap rules all.
True, Very few surprises when teams release opening day rosters.
I thought Nolan Allan did enough to make the Hawks and has a bigger upside than Kaiser and certainly more than Grelcyk. Hopefully they figure it out sooner rather than later.
