With the lousy FA Goalie list, The elevation in Commesso’s play ever since Spencer Knight hit town and Soderblom’s rise in stature This seems more likely. He’s only signed for 1 year at 3 million. It was almost like Commesso thought he was just going to get handed the job next year and when Knight showed up the bells went off. Why eat Broissoit’s salary when you don’t have to? Somebody will take a shot for 3 million. You won’t get much of a return except Cap savings but that’s all you’re looking for here.
