After Joe Pavelski returned to the San Jose Sharks lineup they were not to be defeated, and have advanced through to the Western Conference Final. They’ll meet the St. Louis Blues after an impressive series victory of their own, meaning at least one of them will get a chance to compete for the first Stanley Cup in franchise history. On the other side the Carolina Hurricanes should be well rested after quickly dispatching their second round opponent, but will have to find a way to break through the stingy Boston Bruins defense and goaltending.
