I don’t see the parallel to Foligno. It’s not like Foligno was just some nobody that they moved too soon before he figured it out. He had nearly 50 points the season before he was traded. Lazar has done nothing to warrant a comparison to that. Sure, he could also end up having similar success one day, but not because he’s really showing any signs of it now and the team would be crazy to trade him too soon. The only reason it doesn’t make much sense to move Lazar now is because his value is at a low point.
