The Coyotes show why you can’t rely mostly on analytics to put your team together. Analytics doesn’t measure heart, hustle, grit or chemistry. All those things are needed to be successful. Yes, analytics are useful a tool in putting a team together. It should be part of the evaluation process, but when you rely almost solely on analytics, you are going to run into some issues

Yeah 1 year into the process and analytics didn’t get em to the cup. Guess it’s a real dud. *eyeroll*

Just like the Panthers. He is right. Panthers took a whole new approach going full analytics and look where it has them. They dismantled a 100 point team trading and letting people go. Now they are fighting for a playoff spot. They have 4 more games played than the Leafs and Sens who all sit at 48 points.
