Actually he is providing a valuable service for the B’s. They have to expose 2 forwards under contract next year for the expansion draft. After they protect Bergy, Marchy, Pasta, Backes, Krecji, Spooner, and Beleskey, Hayes and Nash are the only 2 they have that meet the qualifications. So unless they extend someone else that meets the minimum qualifications (Moore) they have to hold onto him or bring someone else in to fill that void. Sad.

Good point. I was all for giving him a shot this year, but yet again, he is doing nothing on the ice. Constantly getting pushed around and not scoring, unacceptable for a player his size.

He really should be a healthy scratch every night at this point. But they have no depth at RW. It’s about time they put Malcolm Subban to good use and trade him for some help.
