Very true I think analytics needs huge part of team building but I still think you can’t go all out like Florida has. Things like character and their determination need to come into consideration. I think Arizona has a good balance with Chayka dealing more in analytics and Tippet with more scouting

I don’t have a problem with analytics being used as a tool to help evaluate players. I do have problem with only analytics being used. There are those in other sports, like Brian Kenney in baseball, who think analytics are the only thing that should be used in evaluating a player. They believe that things like team chemistry,a players attitude & work ethic, grit, heart & hustle don’t matter. They do matter. There have been plenty of talented players who don’t make it because they don’t have the work ethic or heart. There have also been players who have succeeded because of their hustle, heart & work ethic. Use analytics as part of the evaluation process with everything else. Just don’t use it as a be all and end all
